About Carl Neviro
Hi! I’m Carl Neviro, and I run Keyboard Yeti.
I didn’t set out to become “the keyboard guy.” It started with a cheap mechanical board that felt better than my old laptop keys. Then I swapped the keycaps. Then I tried different switches. Then I started soldering. You know how it goes.
At some point I realized that researching keyboards had become more confusing than it needed to be — scattered specs, hype-heavy reviews, endless opinions, very little clarity.
So I built this site to fix that.
Keyboard Yeti is a no-BS resource for anyone trying to choose a keyboard that actually fits their workflow, habits, and budget, without getting lost in the weeds.
I test boards, listen to community feedback, and focus on what matters: feel, build, layout, and long-term usability. No fluff. No affiliate-first content. Just practical insight from someone who’s been in the rabbit hole long enough to know where the traps are.
